Discord, reviews, and player counts
The publisher’s Discord invite is discord.gg/jataterww. On 23 October 2026 that invite reported 65,044 members and 14,596 online. Steam’s current-player API reported 5,122 people in the game at the same research pass. Those numbers will be stale. They are labeled with the day on purpose.
What I checked
I called Discord’s invite API with with_counts=true and Steam’s GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers for app 4954910. The US English store page showed 1,977 reviews at 82 percent positive, Very Positive. SteamDB returned Cloudflare’s block, and Reddit did not return thread JSON. I am not filling those gaps with charts from memory.
Links that are actually official
Discord: https://discord.com/invite/jataterww. The server name is Jatater Worldwide, id 1406416808700940399. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@JataterWorldwide, which showed one video and 106 subscribers in the research notes. Press kit: the Google Drive folder linked from the 10 September wishlist post. Support email on Steam: [email protected].
A Discord DM from someone claiming to be staff is not this invite. Use the public link. The same rule as the playtest page applies.
What I could not load
SteamDB’s app page was a 403. I will not quote a peak concurrent or a price history from it. Coop-Land’s 19 October article mentioned a 29,000 concurrent figure. That is a second-hand number, and I am not graphing it. Valve’s 5,122 current-player response is a point-in-time snapshot, not a peak. Steam Charts returned 404 for this app id when checked. Reddit threads are not cited as facts.
