Editorial policy
Pages on this guide answer one search at a time and cite the document they used. A number without a source does not get written as a fact.
What I checked
When I could not open SteamDB or Reddit, those sections say so. When I have not played a shift, the review page says so. That limit is part of the policy, not a footnote I hope you skip.
What counts as a source
Primary: Steam’s appdetails and news APIs, the Steam store page, the publisher site, the publisher privacy policy and EULA, Valve help articles, the Xbox store, and the Roblox HTTP APIs. Secondary: a dated article such as 2-spyware or Coop-Land, labeled as someone else’s report. Player reviews are described as reviews, not as lab results.
Screenshots taken from the Steam CDN are captioned as official store assets. The home-page hero is original art made for this site. We do not trace the publisher’s logo into a new file and call it ours. The wordmark in the header is typeset text.
Corrections
Email [email protected] with the URL and the better source. If the source checks out, the page’s updatedAt changes, which updates the visible verification line, the article modified time, and the sitemap lastmod. We do not backdate a page to look older.
We will not add a crack, a key shop, a made-up 1.0 day, or a quote the publisher did not publish. Opinion on the controversy page stays labeled as the two readings players posted.
