Which Scam With Your Friends is which
Searching the name returns four different games. Only one of them is the Windows Early Access game this site is about. Buying the wrong store page is easy, and several older guides still mix their player counts.
What I checked
I opened the Steam app record, the Xbox store page for product 9NS7G759JC3L, and the Roblox games API for universe IDs 10768420077 and 10766502612 on 22 October 2026. The table below is those four responses, not a blend. I found no sentence from either studio that says the Steam and Xbox games share progress or a lobby.
Decision table
Steam, AppID 4954910: JakeHub and Metater, published by Jatater Worldwide. Early Access 15 October 2026. Windows only. 1–8 players after Hotfix 2. US price $8.99 on sale from $9.99 that day. This is the game the rest of the guide describes.
Xbox: Hidden Floor Games. Store date 7 October 2026. Listed from $6.59. Up to 6 players. Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC, with cross-platform multiplayer inside that product. ESRB Everyone. The store showed 1.4 out of 5 from 64 ratings. Same title, different developer, different rules.
Roblox, Scam With Your Friends!™ [OFFICIAL]: group Jatater Worldwide, id 1035601365, owner display name JakeHub. Created 28 September 2026, updated 11 October 2026. Free. 8 players. The 23 October API response had 162,655 visits and 1,750 favorites. The description calls itself the official Roblox version of the Steam game. The publisher website I read did not also link it, so I am treating the Roblox group ownership as the evidence.
Roblox, [PT2] Scam Together: group “DO NOT REDEEM IT”, id 659441429. Created 15 September 2026, updated 22 October 2026. Free. 25 players. The 23 October API response had 4,117,047 visits and 47,450 favorites. It is the loudest result and it is not the publisher’s game.
Phones, PlayStation, and Mac
Steam says Mac and Linux are unsupported. A PlayStation Store search on 22 October 2026 returned no product. Google Play search returned several apps from other developers, none under JakeHub, Metater, or Jatater Worldwide. Details sit on the platform page so this hub can stay a comparison.
FAQ
Which one should I buy if I want the Steam game?
AppID 4954910 on Steam, from JakeHub and Metater. Ignore the Xbox page and ignore Scam Together on Roblox.
Is the Roblox game the same?
The Jatater Worldwide-named group's listing claims to be the official Roblox version; the publisher website did not independently confirm that link in our check. It is free, 8 players, and a different client. Scam Together is a third-party Roblox game with far more visits.
Do they cross-play?
I found no evidence that Steam, Xbox, and Roblox share a lobby.
