Update 0.1.73: investment scams and fixes
Update 0.1.73 is the gameplay post of launch week. Bitcoin and meme-coin pitches stop being a static line and become a round you can cash out, up to $700, before a crash you cannot talk away.
What I checked
The Steam post is titled “Fixes and Scam Upgrades” and labels the build 0.1.73, changes since 0.1.81 in one sentence of the feed and a major speech pass in the next. I am keeping both the feature and the fix list, and I am not smoothing over the version jump the post itself prints. If those numbers look odd, that is the post, not a typo I introduced.
The new round
You pitch the coin, the caller invests, and the value rises toward a crash at a random time. You can reassure the caller to delay their withdrawal. Reassurance cannot stop the crash. You can still cash out whatever value is left. The ceiling named in the post is $700. That is an in-game payout, not real cryptocurrency.
Fixes bundled with it
The same post leads with speech recognition, crash, and authentication fixes. Later posts (0.1.82 and the hotfixes) keep working on Whisper and Moonshine, so 0.1.73 is not the last word on voice. Take the newer builds. This page exists so the $700 tool has a date attached.
FAQ
What is the max payout on the coin round?
The 0.1.73 note says you can cash out for up to $700 before or around the crash.
Can I stop the market crash by talking?
No. The note says reassurance can delay a withdrawal and cannot prevent the crash.
Is this real Bitcoin?
No. It is a scam pitch inside the game. Nothing on the store page says the game moves real coins.
