The Xbox game is a different product
Yes, an Xbox store page uses this title. No, it is not the Steam Early Access game. The Xbox listing is Hidden Floor Games, not JakeHub, Metater, or Jatater Worldwide.
What I checked
I opened the Xbox store page for product 9NS7G759JC3L and read the page’s structured data on 22 October 2026. Developer Hidden Floor Games. Release 7 October 2026. Price shown from $6.59. Maximum players 6. Platforms Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with cross-platform multiplayer marked for that product. ESRB Everyone. Rating 1.4 out of 5 from 64 ratings. None of those fields match the Steam app record.
Side by side
Steam is a call-center comedy with AI callers, a 5 GB Windows install, and lobbies of 1 to 8. Xbox is a separate listing with a 6-player cap and a lower user score. If a guide says the Steam game is 6 players, it has copied the Xbox number onto the wrong row.
The Xbox page also lists PC. That PC build is still Hidden Floor Games’ game inside the Xbox store ecosystem. It is not AppID 4954910 and it will not appear in the Steam library because you bought the other one.
What I will not claim
I did not find a statement from either developer saying the games are related, inspired, or in a dispute. I also did not play the Xbox build. The safe claim is the store metadata: different company, different date, different player cap, different price, poor public rating on that snapshot.
FAQ
Is Scam With Your Friends on Xbox?
A game with that name is on the Xbox store, by Hidden Floor Games. The Steam game by JakeHub and Metater is not that listing.
Can I play the Steam game on Xbox?
No Xbox version of AppID 4954910 was listed. The Steam platforms field is Windows only.
Why do people say 6 players?
That cap is printed on the Xbox product. Steam’s Hotfix 2 says 1 to 8.
